The Mentoring

Each participant on the scheme will be assigned a leading industry expert as a mentor.

Over the course of the 12 month programme, they will have at least four face to face meetings with their mentor plus monthly catch up phone calls.

The mentor's role will be to help share their experience of the industry, provide a role model, and advise participants on their career development or address a specific business issue or project.

The mentoring will be used to add perspective and experience to analyzing and addressing key issues which may have been identified through the personal development coaching or other elements of the scheme. These could include things like the participant's management and leadership style, their career progress, strategic thinking about their business, or a particular industry problem.

How will I be assigned a mentor?

The CC-TV team will assign mentors based on applicants' preferences, relevant background, areas of interest and other information provided. The aim is to match people up with mentors whose experience and expertise is as close to the participant's requirements as possible.
