The TV industry is changing. And fast. This major new personal development and training programme is designed to help the next generation of creative leaders adapt and thrive.
This ground-breaking 12 month scheme will equip a select 27 ambitious executives and producers with the skills – both personal and professional – needed to help steer the TV industry into the digital future.
It will offer:
• 1:1 mentoring from some of the industry’s most senior professionals
• Personal development coaching
• A 360° understanding of the evolving business of TV through masterclasses and workshops
• The skills needed to analyse and implement business opportunities
• The opportunity to raise your profile and expand your network of useful industry contacts
It is substantially funded by Skillset’s TV Freelance Fund, and has wide industry support, from Pact, the UK trade association representing the commercial interests of independent TV, feature film, digital, children’s and animation companies; Grant Thornton, auditors, accountants, and leading business advisers to SMEs in the TV sector; and Olswang, the leading media law firm.
It will be designed and delivered by Jill Tandy (consultant specialising in talent development and training programmes for senior film and tv professionals), Matt Born of DV Talent (a leading independent training provider and career agency for creative media professionals), and Janet Evans (senior executive coach and organisational consultant), with the help of John Bates, Adjunct Professor of Strategic and International Management and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School, and Lee and Thompson.
