The programme will be delivered over 12 months from April 2010 to March 2011 and contain the following components :
- 1:1 mentoring with a senior industry mentor matched with the participant’s needs (we have recruited 25 high level mentors who are CEOs and department heads from a broad range of companies, genres and disciplines)
- 1:1 coaching to increase self awareness, and draw up a personal development plan for the programme and beyond;
- Creation of cross-industry peer network
- 2.5 days intensive strategic training in how to build a creative business, put together and lead a team and develop a business plan, delivered by professors from the London Business School
- 4.5 days practical business training: a series of masterclasses and meetings with senior industry practitioners on key topics ( the international market place; working with US and UK broadcasters; developing, packaging and financing content; building a business, raising finance and packaging a business for sale and what the digital future holds
- Additional optional masterclasses on a variety of leadership and business related subjects.
- Evening learning groups to deal with leadership and business issues
- A concerted marketing and advertising plan to raise the profile of the scheme and the participants
- Networking events, industry meetings and reading materials
- Access to a private intranet with information and communication tools
