Decipher is a media consultancy that specializes in understanding the impact of new consumer technologies on media markets.  At their research studios iBurbia, in Chiswick they have built a demonstration suite with every new TV system and device available in the UK.  On 25th of November they are hosting a CC-TV workshop at iBurbia to explore the emerging TV landscape.

As well as having fun playing with all sorts of fun devices like 3DTV, they will be using live demonstrations of all the key services that have been making headlines in the last 12 months to evaluate:

  • The rise of time-shifted viewing on PVR and Catch Up TV
  • The migration of catch up TV from PC to TV
  • Integration of web capability with TV systems (e.g. YouTube and Twitter on the TV set)
  • The changing role of broadcast channel brands
  • New programming (how to drive live audiences in a world of PVR)

The session will provide a unique insight into the emerging landscape for TV.

We have invited the Mentors and key figures in the TV industry and hope to follow this event with Networking Drinks.
